Important Information for Zaireen

 * Notes on Lecture by Moulana Syed Hashim Jafry for the people going to Kerbala for Ziarat

 * Please Note

  1. Punctuality is very important.  Attendance at declared places on time is to be honored to avoid delays.

  1. Carry only essential things. Light baggage is recommended.

  2. Your luggage is your responsibility, always make sure you know where your luggage is.

  1. Do not keep or carry valuables such as, jewelry, driving license, credit cards or any other important documents etc. (as these  are not required )

  1. Always keep a passport copy, a photograph & the identity card with you.

  1. Do not go anywhere far without the permission of Group Leader

  1. Consult Group Leader for the encashment of currency.

  1. Always be in groups and help each other .

  1. Proper care should be taken for food and water. It is recommended to eat the food  provided  by the management. You may carry light snacks for self use.

  1. Parents are requested to take care of their children.

  1. Everyone is requested to take care of the elderly and sick zaireen.

  1. One has to be patient, co-operative, forbearing and should exhibit brotherhood.

  1. Carry required medication  (enough for 15days or more )

  1. Bus and seat numbers will be allotted  in Iraq. To avoid confusion kindly adhere to the allotted  bus and seat till the end of the trip.

  1. Ladies are requested to wear proper hijab .( scarf, chadder and socks)

  1. Group Leader & volunteers are always available for help.

  1. Elderly zaireen who cannot walk are requested to bring their own wheel chairs.

  1. An extra pair of reading glasses are recommended.

  1. Zaireen are requested to check in their personal baggage  (please limit it to 25kgs. only) and obtain the baggage tags. It is also advisable to put large (visible) name tags on your baggage.

  1. Pls note no mobiles, camera, ipods or any sort of electronic gadgets are allowed in Harem.

  1. Any changes in ticket fare shall be charged at actual.

  1. Additional Stay due to unavoidable circumstances shall be charged extra.

  1. If the hadiya is remitted via bank transfer, charges have to be borne by Zaireen.

  2. WC (Western Commode / English Toilet) is not available in all rooms, we cannot allocate rooms based on preferences, please do not always expect WC in your room. In case of dire need we shall try and provide converter commode chairs.

  3. Handcarts / Taxis which are hired by the Zaireen shall not be paid by the group, in case of a requirement the group leader shall arrange transport as required, any services hired by the ziareen is their responsibility.

  4. Only vegetarian food shall be served during your stay in Karbala
